An Introduction to French

t Word 11">

Bonjour,

Its 9:11 in the morning here in New Zealand, which means I should've been at school 11 minutes ago, but yay! I’m not because it is now summer break. Not that it looks much like the summer now, with the grey sky that I’m looking at. But, its not cold outside. Its just not hot either. But maybe I should be glad about that. If it were too hot, I would have to stay inside. Or, of course, I would go swimming. Which would be fun, especially if the waves were big and rough, like they were the other day when I went swimming, because I had soooo much fun boogey-boarding and body surfing. Unfortunately, the ocean doesn’t look very inviting today, not because its really rough, just because it looks sort og like its going to rain. Just so you know, I’ll probably blog a lot, since I have nothing better to do. I am going to sleep-away camp, but not until January 4th. I went last year too. This year might be better though because Ii am going with a friend (to a different camp).

That’s all I have to say for now.

Let Summer Vacation Begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!!

I just finished school today, so I am starting my blog.
It's sooooo great to have the school year finally be over.
BTW, my entries will get more interesting when I have more interesting things to write about.

Today, being the last day, was a half day. It was sunny and 72 degrees. My class has 27 kids, all 5th and 6th graders. My teacher's name is Ms.Andersen. She is usually pretty strict, but is really fun because she gets bored by doing to much work, gets distracted easily, and decides that we can play a game. today, we played board games from 9:00 (the start of school) until 11:15, which was when the end of year assembly began. My Mom came, but my dad was at work.
This year, there were only 9 graduating Year 8's (Eighth Graders). Last year there were 24. We sang some songs, and lots of awards were handed out. Then, the assembly ended, andschool ended too. Officially.
My first thought was 'Yay! I just finished 6th grade'. My second was 'What will I wear on the first day of school?'.
Now, at home, after 8 glorious, school free hours, I am sitting at the dining room table, watching Mom and Aidan bake, and thinking about the
Year 8's that i will miss next year when, on February 2nd, I step into the classroom once again. It will be different, because I will be a 7th grader, and because there will be none of the farmiliar 8th graders.
The Principal will be one of my teachers, and boy is he strict!

Thats pretty much all that I can think of to say, but I will write again later. If I do double-post this onto GarveyGab, then, just to lett everyone know, my blog is at www.ncgb.blogspot.com

Hope everyone has their Cristmas trees up and decorated, because we don't.

Best,
Naomi

p.s. notice how i signed my name how my Mom does. See the 'best' on the line before my name.
